The long-serving CEO of the Northern Finland Student Housing Foundation (PSOAS), Juha Aitamurto, will conclude his long and successful tenure as the foundation’s CEO at the end of April. The decision to step down comes from Aitamurto himself.

“Juha Aitamurto has completed a long, respectable career as PSOAS’s CEO. The foundation’s board warmly thanks Juha for his commitment to developing student housing and building a university city” – Jonne Kettunen, Chairman of PSOAS Board

CEO Aitamurto has significantly contributed to strengthening the foundation’s financial position, developing expertise, and implementing several construction projects, the most recent being the UNO tower building completed in Välkkylä in spring 2024.

“I am grateful for these years and all the opportunities I’ve had in this role. I wish all the best to the work community, board, and the future of PSOAS” – CEO Juha Aitamurto

Aitamurto will continue as CEO until the end of April 2025. The application period for the new CEO has ended. The process continues in the form of interviews.
